FOOL(ish) presents ‘Colin’

All improv shows are by their very nature unique but, if it is possible, this show was more unique than normal! It was performed to a socially-distant audience and suggestions were given via whiteboards to reduce the risks of transmission. We wanted to make joy amidst the turmoil of the pandemic and so we teamed up with York Theatre Royal for their remarkable Pop-Up-Patio festival. Taking ‘Yorkshire’ as our theme we invited Colin Benson as our special guest and created comedy from his stories and from suggestions by the audience. At the end we invited the audience to write their own message of hope on the whiteboards - some of which you can see in Phil Neath’s photos.
